I designed the show for an outdoor event which would host the English National Orchestra on the first evening, then many artists featured on the TV show ‘The Big Reunion’. This was another challenging design that had to accommodate an evening of proms followed by a festival style performance. I had serious limits on power as the promoter wanted to keep the event as green as possible, so fixture selection was thought about very carefully to ensure a suitable rig for both performances whilst keeping a fresh and dynamic approach to operating.

The whole event ran very smoothly during prep and on site due to producing the relevant paperwork before hand. I learnt a saying a few years ago which I now use every day. Its called “the six P’s” = Propper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance!
